But here’s the thing — while the chain’s signature drink was the famous orange smoothie, I wanted none of the orange. I was a banana purist. My go-to order? A banana-strawberry shake — really just a creamy banana smoothie with a hint of strawberry. That’s where my love affair with bananas began… and it’s never stopped.

Ingredients:
- 2 scoops of your favorite unflavored protein powder (This is my favorite! Easy to digest and simple ingredients)
- 2 large ripe frozen bananas (the riper, the sweeter!)
- 6 pitted dates — double-check each date to make sure they’re really pit-free!
- 2 cups frozen riced cauliflower (adds creaminess + fiber without flavor)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt (We use Celtic sea salt for everything! It contains lower sodium per serving than regular table salt and is nutrient rich, and gut supporting)
- 3 cups water (or more for a thinner texture)
- ¼ cup walnuts
- 1 tbsp tahini
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately — preferably on a walk with someone you love.
